Overall, it is much the same as the app though the left-side navigation is laid out a little differently. This is what I found too when I tested it. This one should run optimally regardless of the device you use as it is rendered in the browser and therefore doesn’t depend on how well an app runs on Chromebook. Personally, I opt for the browser for consistency across my devices though I currently still have the app around. If that doesn’t instill enough confidence for you, then use the browser version on your Chromebook. This option seems to be missing in the app. In the browser, you can move the top image if you want your banner to fixate on a different part of the image. It wasn’t until I went to the browser version that I realized the banner was actually larger images as you only get to see a narrow view. With all that said, the app did give me clear latency issues – especially involving the loading of banners, icons, and the like. Simply, hold, drag and drop pages and subpages where you want them in your hierarchy. Overall, the program is rather intuitive to use. Navigation is largely through the left-side menu and hierarchy. This was something that occurred after launching for the first time and could not replicate later.Īs I continued to explore the app, I was pleased to find a dark mode in the app and this is available in their browser version as well. Then things began to respond to my clicks without a problem. However, upon tapping on the upper left menu, this all began to change. PH in a fish tank is the acid or alkaline level in the water. The information is provided at a level that is simple enough to keep your fish tank healthy but allows you to dig deeper if you want. Don’t get put off by terms such as Buffers, Basic, KH, and GH. For example, to offset a high acidity level, you need to add small amounts of alkaline substances.Īlthough this explanation of aquarium pH is at the most basic level, it set a firm foundation for the following sections that will take you a tiny bit deeper. In most cases, achieving a balanced pH which is considered neutral, is the best way to suit a variety of fish that will slowly adapt.Ĭhanging the pH level of aquarium water, in simple terms, requires you to add substances of the opposite chemical makeup. Some areas of the world have higher levels of acid or alkaline in soil and rocks, which transfer to lakes and streams in which fish live. If the water becomes highly acidic or alkaline, severe damage can occur to an aquarium’s entire ecosystem, and it can cause irreparable damage to the internal and external health of your fish, plants, and even the microbes in the aquarium.Īll fish have a preferred pH which relates to their origin. Water that is very alkaline typically contains minerals that absorb acids and make the pH of the water more stable. The more acidic the water becomes, the lower the pH. The level of acidity in water is measured on the pH scale. This article will explain aquarium pH levels in small, easy-to-digest chunks and in an easy-to-understand way, so read on to become an instant expert. Understanding some of the terms used when discussing a fish tank’s pH level is essential, but it can also become overwhelming. If you find pH levels confusing, you are not alone. When fish tank pH levels become too high or low, fish can become stressed and even die. Optimum pH levels are between 6.5 and 8 for most freshwater fish. Water pH (power of hydrogen) is measured on a scale of 0 (acid) – 14 (alkaline), with 7 being neutral.
Is that not the most amazing thing ever? Give me that all day. In the opening 15 minutes, we have Malibu from American Gladiators wearing only the vest and pants of a three-piece suit while spraying a bunch of guys with an uzi, who then try to escape by backing their car out of the alley they're all in, leading to them crashing through a Bud Dry truck and causing an explosion. The one thing they didn't count on: that the scrappy helicopter pilot that flew them there would be the fly in their ointment. When their deal goes bad, they need to take over the skyscraper they're in. Skyscraper has Anna Nicole Smith as a helicopter taxi pilot that gets a job from some baddies that are trying to get some top secret weaponry. A whole slew of other sites have looked at this, including Ty and Brett at Comeuppance, Will at Exploding Helicopter, and RobotGEEK's Cult Cinema, so you can go to their sites to see what they thought about this as well. The fact that I hadn't covered this, and have a review site called "The DTV Connoisseur"-no matter how tongue and cheek the name-was definitely something I felt I needed to rectify as soon as possible, so now we're here. I had never seen it before, but it was one they wanted with their honorable mentions. When I had Brett and Ty from Comeuppance Reviews on the podcast to discuss their favorite PM Entertainment movies, right after we stopped recording, one of them mentioned that we forgot this movie. The good thing about these jobs is that they give you enough time to work on your business/project. Besides Demarco, many people who become rich through entrepreneurship often have a rough start because, in the early stages of the journey, most of their businesses fail, and for this reason, they always have to take high school drop-out jobs for them to pay their bills. When M.J Demarco decided to be an entrepreneur, he had to work in low-paying jobs for him to earn a living because most of his businesses failed. Be Ready to Take Shitty Jobs If You Want To Concentrate on Building Businesses. As he points it out in the book, ‘ Yes Sir, get a job, work 50 years, live frugally, invest in the stock market, your day of freedom will arrive at age 70.’ M.J Demarco agrees that you can get rich using this method, but the sad thing is that you’ll be rich at age 70. Teachers and parents told us to get good grades, then get a job and minimize our expenses. Since we were young we were advised to get rich the traditional way. The Traditional Way of Getting Rich is a Slow Method. Here are six primary lessons from the book You have to read the book if you are an aspiring millionaire. His teachings are reliable since he uses mathematical formulas to support them. He believes you can be a millionaire while still young and he shows you how to do so. Demarco believes being employed for the rest of your life is the slowest roadmap to making millions because he trusts that millions are quickly built through inventions and owning businesses. The reflection of light can be roughly categorized into two types of reflection. How Many Types of Reflection of Light Are There? For instance, an apple appears a shiny red color because it has a relatively smooth surface that reflects red light and absorbs other non-red (such as green, blue, and yellow) wavelengths of light. Many of the objects that we casually view every day (people, cars, houses, animals, trees, etc.) do not themselves emit visible light but reflect incident natural sunlight and artificial light. However, in the real world most objects have convoluted surfaces that exhibit a diffuse reflection, with the incident light being reflected in all directions. When surface imperfections are smaller than the wavelength of the incident light (as in the case of a mirror), virtually all of the light is reflected equally. The amount of light reflected by an object, and how it is reflected, is highly dependent upon the degree of smoothness or texture of the surface. The reflected light produces a mirror image. Regardless of whether light is acting as particles or waves, the result of reflection is the same. Because the particles are so small, they travel very close together (virtually side by side) and bounce from different points, so their order is reversed by the reflection process, producing a mirror image. The best surfaces for reflecting light are very smooth, such as a glass mirror or polished metal, although almost all surfaces will reflect light to some degree.Īccording to particle theory, which differs in some important details from the wave concept, light arrives at the mirror in the form of a stream of tiny particles, termed photons, which bounce away from the surface upon impact. It is important to note that the light is not separated into its component colors because it is not being “bent” or refracted, and all wavelengths are being reflected at equal angles. This concept is often termed the Law of Reflection. Thus, the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection for visible light as well as for all other wavelengths of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum. Visible white light that is directed onto the surface of a mirror at an angle (incident) is reflected back into space by the mirror surface at another angle (reflected) that is equal to the incident angle, as presented for the action of a beam of light from a flashlight on a smooth, flat mirror in Figure 2. The incoming light wave is referred to as an incident wave, and the wave that is bounced away from the surface is termed the reflected wave. However, it wasn’t until a millennium and a half later that the Arab scientist Alhazen proposed a law describing exactly what happens to a light ray when it strikes a smooth surface and then bounces off into space. Some of the earliest accounts of light reflection originate from the ancient Greek mathematician Euclid, who conducted a series of experiments around 300 BC, and appears to have had a good understanding of how light is reflected. |
